How does Flipmule connect to eBay?
Through eBay’s official OAuth flow with read-only scopes. You approve access on eBay’s own site — we never see or store your password — and you can revoke the connection from your eBay account at any time.
Where does my data live?
In two places: your own Google Sheet, stored in your Google Drive, and our database that powers the dashboard. You can request an export or deletion of your data — subject to legal retention obligations and routine backup cycles — and we operate in line with the UK GDPR.
Do you handle VAT and tax?
Flipmule helps you organise the numbers. It monitors your rolling turnover against the VAT registration threshold, keeps records for both standard VAT and the second-hand Margin Scheme, and produces period summaries you can hand to your accountant. It is a record-keeping tool, not tax advice or a replacement for a qualified accountant.
How much history do I get?
Your first sync imports up to the last 90 days of orders, fees and payouts that eBay makes available. From then on, Flipmule keeps your records up to date in the background, typically refreshing about every 15 minutes.
Can I edit the Sheet myself?
Absolutely — it is your workbook. User columns are yours to edit, sort and extend however you like. Flipmule only writes to its clearly marked » backend columns, so your own formulas and notes survive every sync.
